The Arthritis Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter along with our local presenting partner Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Gold Sponsor RSZ Orthopaedics are hosting the Fourth Annual Collegeville Arthritis Walk and 5K timed Run. Kick off the days activities for the Collegeville Community Day by walking or running for arthritis! Help us bring awareness of the nation's number one cause of disability to the community of Collegeville!
The Arthritis Foundation is the only nationwide, nonprofit health organization helping people take greater control of arthritis by leading efforts to prevent, control and cure arthritis and related diseases. Currently 46 million doctor diagnosed Americans, or one in three adults and 300,000 children have arthritis or chronic joint systoms. Arthritis and rheumatic conditions cost the U.S economy $86.2 billion annually and even more reason we need to bring awareness nationwide. Let's start in Collegeville!
Just a reminder that this course is CK certified. There will be cash prizes to the top 3 male and female runners and awards given to the top 3 male and female runners in their age category. Refreshments will be provided after the race and there will be one water stop along the course. |
